it has been a long time since i last posted. during the MIA period, many things happen. i met up with my short sis reina rather frequently. i am also into the last few weeks of term 2.
during these period, i was rather involved with general elections despite the fact im not 21 yet. through this general election, i have learnt many things. it's also through this election, i am more determined to grow and be proud of being a grassroot volunteer.
whatever that im going to say, is just my own feelings and views. not trying to offend anybody but thats just HOW I FEEL.
because of this general election, i had an argument with my family member. to others, i maybe a pro-pap but i am rather neutral. the reason why the argument happen because my family member made claims that she doesnt know me and said i was a busybody when she sees me in white top and white bottom and helping out for PAP. she might be a supporter of the opposition but it doesnt matter to me as afterall, whoever they vote for has nothing got to do with me. i argued with her because she made that comment to me and my other family members who is grassroots.
we might be a busybody but no matter which party, volunteers are the ones they needed to reach out to residents. else, how would 1 MP be able to reach out to 1000+ of residents? other family members told me to just let her be, let her say afterall this is her character but i just dunno how to let it go.
oh well, now that election is over and the arugment had happened, what done has been done. let time decide whether she realised why i was so mad. i may sound disrespectful but i was just trying to make my stand that grassroots arent a busybody and nothing to be ashame of when u have a family member in it!
