yesterday was chingay 2010 rehearsal. i was asked by mrs vee my sec sch cca instructor to be back in sch urgently! so with the URGENTLY, i went back to help.
i was always the 'angel' in the eyes of my junior. but yesterday, i have changed to be the 'devil'. i thought the grp im taking charge of will be of easier task to take care of but i was wrong. out of the 75 dancers yest, ard 45 was with me and 30 with xiu yun.
with only me and her as a alumni HELPER, we almost died. we chase them in sch to hurry, we carry things that do not have an owner, we bring water to them, carry their dinner, serve them, run with them, carry water for them, carry their props when it dropped. i cannot remember wat else we did. and guess wat! wat we receive back from them was not a thank you for helping us but black face & 'TSK' because we shout @ them, chase them, scold them.
are we wrong to shout @ them and chase them when they are standing at the wrong sector or rather not the correct spot of the sector. tell me wat will the audiences see @ the marker of 200- 240 when they stand before 200!
are we wrong to shout @ them to go to their finale grp @ the end of the performance when they are starting to gather and 'complain' or talk with each other and NOT moving!
are we wrong to shout @ them when it's time to prepare and they are still taking their own sweet time to stand up, get their things.
they jolly well noes when to run, where to stand, where to go better than I DO!
are we wrong to not get new water for them when they jolly well leave their water all over the floor?
are we there to be their maid and should anything go missing, WE ARE RESPONSIBLE when they leave their valuables, bags where they put their costumes anyhow along the road when many other performers will walk pass after us?
if they are unhappy of wat we are doing, tell us or even tell mrs vee about it, we arent the ones who volunteered to be back but we came back cause mrs vee asked us and if they can manage themselves, mrs vee wouldnt even need us back!
